We offer something better! Instead of a limited trial, you get full access to UpBuoy with a free account. Try all features, use our support, and see if it's right for you. If you decide the paid account is not a fit within the first 30 days, simply contact us for a full refund.
UpBuoy uses a simple, scalable model based on the number of unique customer service locations where you complete work (either a route stop or a work order) within a calendar month. You only pay for what you use. Multiple visits to the same location in a month only count as one serviced location for billing. We have three tiers: Essential (Free for up to 3 locations), Professional ($1 per location with a $49 minimum), and Enterprise ($0.80 per location with a $500 minimum for 500+ locations). No. There are no setup fees, contracts, or hidden charges for your UpBuoy subscription. If you opt to use UpBuoy Billing for payment processing, standard transaction fees apply (clearly listed on our Pricing and Billing pages). Optional features like Service Texts may have usage-based fees depending on your plan.
You have a few options!
  • QuickBooks Online: Directly import customers via our QBO integration (Settings > Integrations).
  • File Import: Upload a formatted CSV or Excel file. We provide templates and detailed instructions on the website (Customers > Import from File) to ensure a smooth import.
  • Manual Entry: You can always add customers one by one through the web portal or app.
We don't offer a formal "pause" feature. To guarantee your data remains active and accessible, you need to maintain an active subscription. However, since pricing is based on serviced locations, if you're on the Professional tier, your bill will automatically drop to the minimum monthly fee ($49) during months you service fewer locations. If you have 3 or fewer locations, the Essential tier is free, so there's no cost during inactive months.
You can cancel anytime via the UpBuoy website. Navigate to Account > Payment Method, where you'll find the cancellation option.
