Part 1: Your Business at a Glance
Congratulations on completing the setup! You've now landed on the main Dashboard, which is the heart of your Upbuoy account.
Mission Control for Your Business
Think of this page as your business's mission control. It's designed to give you a high-level, real-time overview of your company's financial health and operational status.
This is where you'll start your day to quickly understand what's happening and where your attention is needed most.
Let's break down the different sections.
Part 2: The Main Dashboard Cards
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see two main cards: Sales and Operations. These provide real-time insights into your business performance.
💰 Sales Card
This card gives you a snapshot of your company's financial performance. You can use the dropdown menu to switch between different views:
Total Sales
Shows the total revenue collected over the selected date range. The line chart visualizes the trend of payments received, comparing the current period to the previous one.
Invoices Outstanding
This view focuses on money you're owed. It displays the total amount of all unpaid invoices and highlights how much of that is overdue.
Quotes
If you use quoting, this shows the total value of quotes you've sent and how many have been approved within the selected period.
Pro Tip: Use the Date Picker at the top right of the card to change the time frame. You can select presets like "Last 30 days" or choose a custom range to analyze your performance over time.
🛠️ Operations Card
This card provides insights into your team's fieldwork and efficiency.
Service Activity View
This is the default view. It shows you the total number of Customers, Locations, and Route Stops you have in the system, comparing the current numbers to a previous period to track your growth.
Route Performance View
This view focuses on daily execution. It shows the number of stops Scheduled, Completed, and Skipped, giving you a clear picture of how effectively your routes are being run.
Part 3: The Operations Overview: Today's Route Assignments
Below the main cards, you'll find the Operations Overview. This powerful section shows you exactly what's happening today.
👨🔧 Technician List
On the left, you'll see a list of your technicians scheduled for the selected day. Each technician card shows:
Their name and avatar.
The number of stops on their route.
A progress bar indicating how many stops are completed.
Their current status (e.g., "On Route", "Completed").
📍 Customer Stops Section
This is the core of the daily view. It lists all the service stops for the selected technician(s) in their optimized order. Each stop includes:
Customer Name & Address: Clickable for quick access to details.
Service Type: E.g., "Weekly Service" or "Repair".
Estimated Time: The scheduled time window for the visit.
Status: A color-coded badge showing if the stop is Pending, Completed, or Skipped.
🗺️ The Map
The interactive map plots all of today's service stops, giving you a visual representation of your technicians' routes.
You can see the sequence of stops and get a geographical sense of the day's work.
Pro Tip: You can drag and drop the customer stops in the list to instantly re-order a technician's route for the day. This is perfect for making last-minute adjustments.
Part 4: Taking Action from the Dashboard
The dashboard isn't just for viewing—it's for taking action.
